Ambermoda
|
Ambermoda, which belongs to Danuta and Mariusz Gliwiński, has been in the world jewelry market
for decades. The key material used by the designers is carefully selected, 40 million years old certified
Baltic amber. Each piece is unique, hand made and signed by the author.
|
The Company cooperates with fashion designers and participates in style competitions and
international jewelry presentations, as well as world’s most renowned fair. The owners are
particularly proud of Ambermoda's inclusion in the prestigious governmental Design in Poland’s
program. Ambermoda is one of few companies to hold the International Amber Association certificate.
The IAS grants its certificate only the companies who use exclusively natural Baltic amber and have a
perfect reputation.
Danuta and Mariusz Gliwińscy have been making artistic jewelry, primarily with amber, since the end
of the seventies. Through great sensitivity and hard work, they created their own style of silver
jewelry, shaping hand made settings for exquisite varieties of amber. These great, shining, carefully
finished silver surfaces exist to heighten the beauty of the stones, without competing with them.
Particularly attractive are the sets of jewelry composed of many elements (such as necklaces, rings,
bracelets, buckles, and brooches) but with complementary compositions.
The Gliwińscys gladly apply surprisingly different materials to amber decoration, for example steel,
leather and silk, to name but a few. In their compositions, new ideas are often combined with
tradition. All their works are handmade, thanks to which they keep their unique character.
The constantly take part in exhibitions, competitions, and fashion shows both in Poland and abroad.
They frequently receive awards for their designs and superb quality. Their works are also exhibited
in the Museum Ziemi (the Earth Museum) in Warsaw, and the Museum of Archaeology in Gdansk.
